Der CFD-Verband will die politischen und regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen für den CFD- und Währungshandel in Deutschland verbessern sowie dazu beitragen, die immer populärer werdende Anlageklasse der Contracts for Difference zu fördern. Dabei tritt der Verband als Kompetenzzentrum auf, möchte die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für dieses Marktsegment verbessern und einen noch größeren Fokus auf den Anlegerschutz richten. Darüber hinaus sind wir als Ansprechpartner für Medienvertreter aktiv und erarbeiten mit den Mitgliedern Leitlinien und sprechen Empfehlungen zu aktuellen Themen im CFD-Markt aus. Gründe für die Einrichtung des CFD-Verbands waren der Öffentlichkeit eine neutrale, transparente Instanz anzubieten, zu informieren und durch Marktstudien Zahlen zum CFD-Markt in Deutschland zu liefern. Der Verband fühlt sich den europäischen Finanzstandards verpflichtet und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, diese konsequent umzusetzen. Bei der Realisierung stehen Werte wie Transparenz, Fairness und Integrität im Vordergrund. Beim Thema Anlegerschutz gelten die von der ESMA ausgesprochenen Empfehlungen als Richtschnur für das gemeinsame Handeln.
