About Diversity Magazine

Diversity Magazine is a project of Green Crusader Inc., now evolved into Diversity Group, a business registered in 2010 in Edmonton, working for the good of the environment, community, and business. Diversity Magazine was launched on 17 December, 2012 in the fantastic city of Edmonton as Afro Canadian Magazine before opening its doors to other communities as Diversity Magazine in December, 2014. March 31, 2017 saw the official launch of Diversity Magazine in the great City of Calgary. Although we have some journalists and communication experts in our team and engage in a journalistic-like activity, it is important to stress that we are not journalist or reporters, we are community members passionate about telling untold community stories and unheard successes in the community. Our team members who go out to collect and share stories are called Community Liaisons. Non Diversity Team Members sharing their opinion, stories, visions and passions are called columnists and contributors. Diversity Magazine tells untold stories through Diversity Magazine, a tool to promote all of its other projects. Diversity takes diversity to the classrooms, boardrooms, events, restaurants and parks through the program called World Flavours; it shares untold Albertan stories to its 40,000 reach through videos called Diversity TV, Monthly Diversity Digital Magazine, Bi-monthly Diversity Magazine print, Weekly Diversity Magazine Online; and it produces numerous events including Afro-Canadian Heroes Award, Diversity Award, Diversity Centre, and most recently Africanival.
