eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc. was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Solana Beach, California. Founded in 2012, the company focused on developing selective translation regulator inhibitors (STRIs), a new class of small molecule drugs aimed at regulating protein synthesis for cancer treatment. eFFECTOR went public in August 2021 through a merger with Locust Walk Acquisition Corp. and was listed on Nasdaq under the ticker EFTR.
