Hi, I'm Darren Huppert, a marketing and communications consultant based in Rocklin, California, with more than 25 years of experience helping government agencies, public utilities and mission-driven organizations connect with the communities they serve.
I'm a 2019 CAPIO Award winner for Internal Communications — recognized by the California Association of Public Information Officials alongside the best communications professionals in the state. I've led programs at Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), Placer County and the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA), managing everything from social media, website and email marketing to crisis communications inside an Emergency Operations Center.
