About Israel-China Friendship Society

The Israel-China Friendship Society was established on 1992 as a response to the newly established diplomatic relations between China and Israel. It was established by the members of the Association of Former Residents of China in Israel, and is supported by this association. Both organizations operate in cooperation. The Israel-China Friendship Society is a non-profit organization, which aim to promote the following objectives: 1. To cultivate and promote the friendship relations between China and Israel. 2. To cultivate and promote cultural and art exchanges between China and Israel. 3. To cultivate and promote the science, commerce, technology education & sport relations between China and Israel. Our Activities (partial list): • Assisting and hosting Chinese delegations, which visit for non-commercial purposes. • Organizing cultural activities (e.g. celebrating Chinese holidays) • Organizing lectures and presentation related to China and the Jewish heritage in China. • Keep the relations with other Chinese friendship associations in the world. • Organizing Chinese study lessons to adults and children. • Organizing activities for the Chinese students in Israel • Granting Scholarships to the Chinese students that study in Israel. All the activities of the Israel-China Friendship Society are carried out by volunteers who do not receive any remuneration. The budget of the organization is supported by membership fees and donations
