About ITAVEN

ITAVEN (acronym for Italy - Venezuela) based in the City of Turin, is a project with the aim to make available to everyone, and free of charge, tools for the development of the Italian-Venezuelan community in both countries. Faced with an increasingly dynamic and complex global picture, the participation of civil society, the solely responsible for safeguarding the heritage and identity as the bearer of them, is indispensable. More than ever, Venezuela and the world need people prepared for the challenge, but more important with strong human convictions and high moral standards that promote justice, honor and fraternity. We work tirelessly so the community can coordinate efforts of their own, currently distributed in more than 50,000 Venezuelans in Italy, 110,000 Italians in Venezuela and 2,000,000 of natives (descendants of Italians, born in Venezuela). Inclusion, solidarity and tolerance are essential to ensure a joint, fast and sustainable growth. The optimization of our community structure, especially in Italy which daily receives more and more Venezuelans under the worse circumstances, is the first step towards the consolidation of each of us as protagonists of this particular historical moment. We do not know what surprises are waiting for us, but we will take each step together, with love for Venezuela.
