Hello! Welcome to my business page, Laura Kidd Social Co. I started this business in the middle of 2020 because I wanted to help the health and wellness industry thrive using my unique skills and expertise. The people who make up this industry have huge hearts and display so much compassion — it truly inspires me. I want to help them tell their stories so they can make an even bigger impact on the world. About me: I've worked for over 10 years in public relations, communications, and social media. I was the Digital Media Coordinator at The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre for 6 years before following my dreams of moving to London, UK. While in London, I worked as the Content and Social Media Manager at Digitas Health (part of Publicis Groupe) helping healthcare industry CEOs and VPs become thought leaders on social media. Since moving back to Canada in 2020, I have blended my experience and passions to build my own business. This business is a culmination of working in PR, communications, and social media mainly within the healthcare industry: including mental health, pharmaceuticals, and working with healthcare executives to refine their personal brand and achieve their organizational goals.
