Né en 2018, à l'ITIC - Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, le Projet UP s'inscrit dans le parcours des étudiants de première année Information et Communication (L1 Infocom). Dispensé sur le site Du Guesclin à Béziers et sur le campus Route de Mende à Montpellier, il a pour objectif d'aider les étudiants à découvrir et consolider les compétences liées aux métiers de l'information et de la communication, à développer un esprit de cohésion ainsi qu'à gagner en confiance. Le Projet UP se veut donc "incubateur de communicants", en proposant chaque année des activités pratiques aux étudiants, qui se réunissent en plusieurs agences de communication junior.
