About WINDSdays

WINDSdays is the communications arm of the Virginia Beach Mayor's Commission on Offshore Wind and Clean Energy. The Commission is composed of more than two dozen men and women representing themselves and organizations inside and outside the resort city. Their task? Communicate the benefits of renewable energy and the power of wind and help build a culture around the value of a clean and green environment. Much of the promotion and education will occur on WINDSdays as the development of a 188-turbine offshore wind project by Dominion Energy commences, 27 miles out in the Atlantic.
